Monarch Media is a publishing company specialising in the provision of published materials and PR plans for third parties, particularly to the sport, leisure, travel and finance industries.
Monarch Media is lead by Sean Callander and Stephen Doig. With 20 years of experience in sports journalism, PR and publishing, Sean has worked with organisations including Fairfax Newspapers (including Melbourne daily newspaper The Age), the Association of Surfing Professionals, ESPN Soccernet and AFL Publishing (as associate publisher). He has also authored three books – the 2004 Australian Sports Diary, Marcos Ambrose: The Devil Racer, and The Aussie Poker Guide.
Stephen comes from a management and marketing background. He has experience in account management and promotion in the US sports market through Surge at DraftWorldwide (based in Chicago) on events including Summer and Winter Olympic Games and NASCAR. He also managed the custom publishing portfolio at AFL Publishing prior to starting Monarch Media.
Our primary office is located in Melbourne, Australia. We also use a collective of designers, editors, printers and other specialised suppliers. We have an international network, which allows us to provide products and services at globally competitive rates.
